Alistair’s Cascade Rifle Hitch Tube Fly

Designed by Ally Gowans, this is one of the great salmon flies of modern times. It has caught fish all over the world and can be tied in all forms from singles to tubes, making it a prolific fish taker all season long and in all conditions.

Tied on a short lightweight plastic tube. Hitch tubes have a hole pre-pierced in the side for angled line entry. Fish on a full floating line to give an enticing surface wake.
