Black and Peacock Spider T/B Nymph tied on a barbed hook. This is an adaption of a pattern originally designed by Tom Ivens just after the 2nd World War. Spiders have seen a new age of popularity in recent years and are a good choice at the beginning of a hatch when insects are coming off but no fish are rising.
Also an excellent stillwater pattern when fish are feeding on beetles and snails. Also a very effective river wet fly.
