This Pump House Shrimp is named after the Pump House Croy which is on the Meikleour and Islamouth beat on the river Tay. Just below Meikleour House where owner and angler Claire Mercer Nairne tends to spend a bit of her free time fishing this fly with great success. The fly fishes well in all conditions and water levels a great pattern that should be in your fly box. We have tied it on a 10mm brass tube to give you extra weight on a shorter tube keeping the pattern the correct size.
